Excellent. I have a small one bedroom apartment attached to my home. The unit I have had in there for many years finally when out. The LQ window unit I put in to replace it cools the area extremely well. The young man who lives there is very happy. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
I've had the unit for 2 months now. So far, so good. If anything I'd say the heating function is not as powerful as I'd hoped. Installation was easy.
These units are used on a coastal home, where the salty air creates brutal conditions. I have purchased 7 units and only 1 unit failed sooner than expected (after 2-3 years). Overall performance such as heating and cooling efficiency and energy consumption is solid.

ease of use
My first LG heat and air combination ran 24/7 for almost 10 years. I had enclosed my porch with dog door and needed something for all seasons. It was marvelous. But old age took over and I figured I'd certainly gotten my money's worth. So naturally I replaced it with another LG heat air combination.
We love this little ac. It freezes us at 72 degrees, so we keep it at 78. This is in the hot Florida sun in July! We have not tried the heating feature yet. Installation was easy and required no sleeve since we already had a place in the wall that was open.
I bought this a couple weeks ago installed it in my garage and calls very well and they quickly removes the heat and cools down my garage. Anne makes a very comfortable to work.

Features/Settings, Performance
I bought this to replace my 10000 btu unit because of heat feature. The unit works really hard to cool my 15 x 13 room in the day time. The F1 setting on the fan could be a little less to reduce the fan noise when it's sleeping time.
Using the unit now for little over 2 months in CA. There is a handful of problems with the unit, the problems seem more like design flaws rather then production flaws. Filter cover.
Bought this for a small garage studio apartment which is doubling as my temporary office. The unit was easy to install and is in a window right next to my desk. The unit is quiet enough that I can be on a zoom call or phone call and do not have to turn it off. Cools and heats well.
