A better way to top load

Had the machine for 11 months & still don't understand it. Consistently clothes come out as dirty as they went in. With a large load there is no movement of the clothes. The items on top end the cycle still on top. Items in the middle of the drum will have dry spots more than 3/4 through the cycle.

I bought this to replace a defective unit that was part of a recall. When they couldn't get a replacement part until 2018, LG sent us a check to get a new washer. Since we really liked the washer (quiet and got just about everything out), we decided to get the newer version of the same model.

I love the load balance sensor, so far- all loads, (no matter on the size) have washed all the way through without it going out of balance like my previous GE front loader. I love the large drum, it can handle very large amounts of clothes, comforters, blankets, rugs etc.

This is a huge improvement from the old washer we had when we bought our house. The clothes come out very clean, and almost dry -- the washer does a great job of getting the water out. I love not having the pole in the middle, my bras and other clothes no longer get caught and tangled.

I bought this washer about a month ago when my old one finally broke down after 14 years. So far it has worked great. You have a lot of control over the wash cycle with lots of different options.

I have had this machine for almost 2 months and if I had it to do over again I would never buy it! I want hot water in some loads but the only way to get it is to turn off the valve to the cold water. I must turn the cold back on or it won't run through the cycle. The spin cycle lasts way too long!

At first, we liked the new technology it has but after a few wash loads, the washer started making random, very unusual and very loud noises. The wash load is not fully covered in water unless you 'add more water' to the process.
