It's a bit combersom and won't connect USB wise to Mac and PC but it can be particioned. It is nice to connect to iPad though fast play back
Awesome. They just need to sort the IOS 8 issue for streaming iTunes films and it will be great.
Very good piece of kit for storage of large numbers of photographs. Bought it for my wife who uses it yo manage her pictures
I bought this to store iTunes videos to watch while away from home. But it is impossible to watch them using IOS8. Playback freezes for a moment every few minutes. LaCie acknowledge the problem and claim to have been working on a solution for months.
Very good, works well.
worthless! It's just a normal usb hard drive. I've wasted so many hours trying to figure out how to wirelessly use this but it's pathetic. doesn't make sense. You can't just access files like you would a normal hard drive.
Excellent device. Effectively increases the iPad memory by a terabyte. Very portable and easy to use
not a good charge life.
Had fuel for 1 day so going to stick with it a bit longer but so far this is THE most annoying tech thing I have bought for a while. Managed to upload 3800 tracks from ITunes to it as well as a few hundred photos and 5/6 videos via the USB 3 cable supplied which did not take long via drag and drop.
Brought this for the drive from the uk to Italy. Two kids in the back that have iPods and needed a bigger choice of films to watch. The concept seems great. In reality it has not lived up to expectations as the software is buggy and cumbersome. The big issue is the battery life.
