Small, very sharp and easy to use. Fantastic. I wished the focus knob was more smoother and less plasticky feeling. I wish the eye relief is more forgiving. You really have to have the ocular width aligned perfectly to have a good look, but with practice, youll get it unfolded to the right size...
As you would expect from Leica and for the price, these have terrific optical quality. I keep them in my pocket for birding when I am out walking and do not want to carry full size bins. Obviously, 8x20 leaves you with a narrower field of view. The construction quality and weight are excellent.
Very lightweight, great optics. Might make these my main binos rather than the full size ones! Only downside is they dont come with any lens covers.
I bought these about 25 years ago to use for hiking and climbing. Not only were they the brightest and clearest of all the compacts I tested, eye fatigue was non-existent. Fast forward ~25 years and they still perform as tested. They've held up well too.
Lightweight, clear and bright. For the money the best value in compact binoculars.I do not wear corrective lenses/glasses.Field of view may be narrow for hunting given the objective.
Amazing brightness for such small bins. Superb clarity. Even field of view was pretty good. Focus ring is spot on. Only slight downside is eye relief - would have preferred clicks as provided on larger bins. It's all or nothing with the sliding version and sometimes they get accidentally pushed in.
Good Points: Compact size, portability and build quality.Improvement Points: Nothing
Good Points: I bought these little binoculars for my husband as he had admired my ones. They are lightweight, fit in a pocket and perform excellently. We are birdwatchers and normally use our full size Swarovskis but when we go for a ramble or just a walk these are perfect.
Good Points: Compact size, great build quality and excellent clarityImprovement Points: Focus knob is too small and awkward, it also has a vague feel to it.Needs a compact neoprene case or similar as the provided case is far too bulky. It would also be nice to have objective lens covers.
Improvement Points: Case not as good as earlier 8x20 leather case. Sometimes difficult to place in and remove binoculars.
