Lenovo 14" ThinkPad P40 Yoga Multi-Touch 2-in-1 Notebook

The Lenovo ThinkPad P40 Yoga is a well-made 2-in-1 mobile workstation, with a nice display, good performance, and useful extras. The convertible design isn't a huge selling point for this category, but its portability and touch screen may prove useful if you need to do some serious work on the go.

Versatility is the name of the game as the P40 Yoga targets light workstation users with touchscreen features and a dedicated Quadrio GPU. For a starting price of $1500 USD, however, we were expecting a bit more in terms of performance and features.

But if you're looking for a combination of portability and pen ability, the ThinkPad P40 Yoga is tops. It just makes us wonder if there are any other PC categories for Lenovo to give the Yoga treatment to. Gaming desktops, maybe?

Lenovo's ThinkPad P40 Yoga wants to be everything that most designers and artists would want from a creative computer you take with you: a full-spec laptop that can run all of your usual desktop apps – from Photoshop and InDesign to After Effects and Maya – that's also a tablet you can draw on.

Lenovo wants to establish the flexibility of the Yoga series in the workstation range with the new ThinkPad P40 Yoga. We basically get a ThinkPad Yoga 460 with a dedicated GPU, but the test model reveals some drawbacks.

I bought this a few months ago and use it mainly as a student in a graduate level program. I am very pleased with the laptop thus far and cannot think of anything that I would want to change about it. The battery life is good, depending on what you are working on.

System has performed better than expected. I am extremey happy

I've bought it in June 2017 as a replacement for original ThinkPad Yoga. The hardware features plus flexible form-factor and digitizer are grat features for P40 to become a single all-purpose PC.

The laptop combines the reliability and quality of the Thinkpad with the touchscreen and versality of the competition. Handles streaming, multiple browsers open and several background apps with little to no strain.

Never had a note book like this one that seems never get warm by continue using for 24 hours ! it ready to use less than 10 sec. after turn it on ! Fast, yes, very fast !For the money wise, this is a MUST have !
