When I'm looking to be productive, more screen real estate is a necessity. Bigger screens lets me have multiple windows in view at once, or pin different applications to the screen corners. While I can get by on a 12-inch screen, I adore 15- and 17-inchers.

Easy to upgrade internals., Big display., Great keyboard., Full sized Ethernet, USB-A and HDMI ports.
-
-
Poor webcam., No Precision trackpad., USB-C port is limited., Stock HDD is slow., Stock battery is too small.
The Lenovo IdeaPad 330 is ideal for somebody who uses the computer very infrequently or for very few lightweight activities like checking email and playing a video on YouTube.

+
Presentable finish, Display folds out up to 180 degrees
-
-
Disappointing performance, Washed out colours on the display, Too few USB ports, all on one side
The Lenovo IdeaPad 330S makes itself likeable for its classy design, solid build, crisp non-glossy display, and adequate battery life, but gives us pause for thought in the performance department.

Classy design and solid build, Crisp 14-inch non-glossy IPS display, Accurate and easy-to-use precision touchpad

Hiccups while multitasking, Average battery life leaves us wanting, Speakers could use more bass
I bought a Lenovo laptop for my daughter about 7 years ago that still runs fine, though a bit slow for today's applications. Hopefully build quality is still as good if not better.

So just writing about the hardware, everything seems to work, which is of course expected, but it doesn't always happen. Its thin, about 4 1/2 lbs and gives a bright enough display, though for me at least, the display has to be set at 100% in a normally lit room.

The wifi device on this Lenovo is 8.02.11 ac only. Lenovo could have made this laptop more versatile had they used a dual band wifi device. In my own situation our router is broadcasting at 8.02.11 b g/n, so I use a small USB wifi adapter in the laptop that picks up that protocol to get around the...
I wanted something low-priced, Window-based, with an SSD, to be a secondary computer when I'm not at my desktop PC. This fits the need perfectly. With the SSD, it is blazingly fast; it's small at 128GB but I'm not using this as my main computer nor storing all my photos, etc. on it, so it is fine.
No issues a month later, laptop is working great. Nice to have one that still comes with an optical drive.
I paid a lot more money for a known brand computer and spent more money on repairs than the costs of the entire purchase. I love my new computer. It works great and is user friendly.
It was a gift for my daughter and she told me that she loves the lap top... and she got a special treat that we didn't realize came with the computer!!! A dvd player which she didn't have in her hp!!I have a lenovo yoga and mine is fantastic also~~ but I didn't get a dvd player!!
this is my very first Lenova and I really like the simplicity of this laptop. I would recommend this to my friends.
I removed the factory partition that was taking up 25GB of space. The display is OK...for the price it's acceptable. For about $100-150 more, I could've got a better screen. Battery life is OK.

Lenovo brand name. Samsung SSD. Optical drive. 10-key. Runs quiet. Smooth. Virtually no bloatware!

It does not look like you can replace the SSD without taking the entire bottom casing apart. One day I might try but for now, I'll have to manage with 256GB.
Great product, great speed, and no issues. I am completely satisfied with the purchase
Great price for an 8th-gen i5 with all the included specs.

This laptop performs excellently. the quad core processor combined with the SSD allow for quick load times on most applications. The casing itself is pretty solid. Even if it is not aluminum it seems sturdy enough with an appropriate amount of flexibility on the screen so that it isn't too...

The only downside that I feel isn't a result of getting the laptop cheaper than the more expensive options is the location of the track pad. While I do understand the idea of putting the track pad directly below the space bar instead of dead center, I often have issue left clicking when I'm not...
