Magic Chef 0.9 cu. ft. Capacity Countertop Microwave

It is very difficult to find a microwave with 900W that fits into small spaces, particularly if depth is a problem since it is only 14 inches deep and it does not have a handle that protrudes from the front, as many units do. This one looks great (stainless front), is easy to use and works well.

The button used to open the microwave door requires quite a lot of force. Unless the unit is somehow anchored in place or held still with your other hand, it's pushed backwards along the counter top each time you open the door. Seems like a design flaw that could be easily corrected.

Had the identical model for seven years until it started to rust out. Good size for dinner plates and medium bowls. Will not fit large platters or bowls, but a good size if counter space is an issue. Adequate for reheating food and beverages, baked potatoes, etc.

After six (6) years, the first one gave out. Normally, high-quality units would be repaired, but, sadly, in today's world, with labor rates so high, we replace things, so, I bought a new one.

This was an upgrade for us from our old Rival microwave which had rusted out in the turntable groove. I'm impressed with the quality and performance, this is working perfectly for us.

I gave this as a gift, my follow up is that she loves it. Perfect size for the countertop and easy to use.

Perfect unit for an apt or dorm!!!

bought this to replace another similar unit. It is effortless to install and operation is basic and simple for anyone who has used a microwave!

Good looking and seems to be well made. 900 watts takes a little longer than "potato" button for one average potato but not a big deal. Haven't used a lot yet. Pop open for door a little strong. Need to hold oven to keep from sliding when opening door.

We like this microwave very much except that it's too small for some of our leftover dishes.
