What is the best entry-level, starter or budget tripod? I have been long-recommending the Manfrotto 190 series tripods for those looking for a quality tripod that does not require a big budget.
This isn't a high-end tripod, however it is way nicer than a lot of the other tripods in its price range and cheaper. The pistol grip with thumb adjustment takes a little getting used to, but it is a very quick and easy way to reposition your camera.
Great product! Stable professional tripod.
Simple to use and sturdy, this could handle heavy dslr/lens combo very well.
Great light weight tripod. Sturdy for lighter camera such as dslr with lense focal length below 500mm. Great for mirror less cameras too. Comes with nice carrying case. Fold to compact size easily fits into suitcase
I will keep this short and honest. I have only had this tripod for a few weeks, so i cannot yet address long-term reliability. That said, i have owned various other tripods such as a Leitz Tiltall (decades ago) and various medium to low quality tripods since then.
One section keeps falling of.The clamps are loud and feel flimsy. They rattle and make a lot of noise, so if you try to work in a quiet environment then forget it.The whole thing just feels very cheap and not reliable.
Bought this a few months ago for my DSLR camera setup. I have a Canon T6i with a full range of lenses. These legs were paired with the Manfrotto MHXPRO-BHQ2 XPRO Ball Head with 200PL Quick-Release System and this is the perfect combination for still images and light video work.
A tripod for rough use in small places.
Practical and useful for field work.
Used this tripod for shooting a night scene off the deck. The extenders are easy to use. Attaching camera was no problem. Folds up into provided case for easy travel. Great addition for anyone.
