The Manfrotto BeFree is a compact and stylish tripod that comes with a stylish padded bag. The tripod is small enough that it will fit into a small photo / multi-use backpack such as the Lowepro CompuDay Photo 250, without adding too much weight.

Would be nice to have tightening tool included, Difficult to fit tripod back in case with QR plate attached, Could feel a little short for taller people
This is a very user friendly tripod, easy to set up and take down. I wish it weighed 1/2 pound or so less but everything is a trade off and it's a study tripod for my Sony A6000. I'd have no hesitation recommending it
This tripod is perfect for my backpack and for travel. It is well constructed, provides full-height tripod features in a small package.
Pro:- Lightweight & Compact. Perfect for travel.- Doesn't look/feel cheap.- Come with quick release plate that compatible with Manfrotto "323 RC2 System Quick Release Adapter with 200PL-14 Plate".- Come with a nice-looking bag.Con:- Legs doesn't lock when folded.
Took this awesome tripod on my cross country trip and I'm beyond impressed. I love the size so it fits in all my bags super easy. It's very sturdy holding my Nikon d7100 with battery grip and heavy fisheye lens from rokinon. Also holds my Polaroid sx-70 Sonar perfectly.
A manfrotto for a great price. Its not heavy at all. Perfect for people who enjoy landscapes
Great tripod, love it!
This is pretty good. You have to remove the plate to get the legs to fold up to their most compact state which is kind of annoying as the plate is small and easy to lose.... which is exactly what happened. I ordered a replacement and a spare.
Lives up the hype! Very compact and light, love the carrying case it comes with. Highly recommend!
I purchased this tripod to be my lightweight travel tripod, but found it to be more sturdy than my larger carbon fiber tripod. It holds my D500, any lens I have up to my 300mm, and a flash without any issue.
I bought this tripod because it would fit easily into my backpack for travel photography. I mounted my RRS ball head on it. So far it has proven adequate for a Nikon D810 and smaller lenses like: 24mm f1.8; 58mm; 105mm and 180mm.
