Manfrotto MHXPRO-2W 2-Way Pan/Tilt Head

This head is small and simple and pairs well with Manfrotto's mid-range photo tripods. Pans and tilts are smooth enough and I don't miss advanced features because I have a "proper" heavier video tripod for more demanding work.

If you are looking for an "entry" level Manfrotto liquid head for your stand, look no further. This is a quality head and does just what I had hoped. The quick release works great. I would recommend this to anyone getting into video or DSLR photos.

First, this is a great Video head for people looking for good quality equipment for a reasonable price. This could work for a lot of folks. I do like and use this despite a few things that frustrate me because of its weight. But If I had to switch or purchase again, I would choose different.

Works great but not for big rigs. It also has a flat mount instead of aHalf Bowl mount. I like it enough that I am considering buying a second one.

Good head overall for photography but for pan the drag is set too tight and it unscrews had to adjust it and take it apart to losten it. Get a 502HD Pro Video or the variant with the quick release photo plate if you want the pan on that one is MUCH better if I did this again I'd buy that model.

Excellent piece if kit. Easy to use and well made.

The fluid head is excellent

It's an overall okay head. If you need something light and quick for run and gun set ups. There's no fine drag tuning on the pan/tilt. It's pretty much loose or tight and some degrees in between. Not a fan of the plate orientation.

Manfrotto just makes solid gear. These fluid heads are excellent and will last a long time.I own two. Daily use. Still love them!

We use this in our sanctuary at our church on a wall mount to mount a canon vixia g20 camcorderto do our online service. We have three to four points in the sanctuary the we need to hit. This mount does a stupendous and smooth job at getting the camera to the position we need very smoothly.
