Manfrotto MT055CXPRO4 Carbon Fiber Tripod

Rock solid tripod but it has several issues that need to be addressed. It uses a spring retaining clip washer to keep the center section from pulling out of the tripod. The retaining clip has fallen off and the whole center section then pulls away from the legs.

Very nice tripod. It's a nice upgrade from the aluminum one that I've been using. Nice new features like the bubble level and the ability to slide the center column to the side for macro work.

Over the last few weeks I have used the tripod in a number of settings. I have found the tripod to be very high quality. Some of my complaints are the same you'll see in other reviews of the product: no hole/hook to hang a center weight, lack of an ability to further hold the tripod down with peg...

I use this product to take Macro photos and it has been excellent.

A very good tripod, it's easy to use and can tell already it is top quality so will be durable and I think it looks great too, chunky yet quality and professional all while staying lightweight.I'd say the tripod itself is worthy of 5 stars but there's a few things to note...

This is the second MT055 tripod I've bought. The first being ten years ago. I've taken it round the world and used it in mud, sand and the sea and it's still going strong. The new one is for my second camera body so I can use both cameras at once.

Bought this to replace my previous one, which is pretty much warn out with over 10 years of continuous use. Think there's been some improvement in the design with the locking levers and it does what it says it does. Can easily hold my 150-600 mm lens and my EOS 7DMk2.

Having owned several tripods, over many years, I decided to purchase a, "top of the range," one to replace my old models. I researched which tripod to buy, decided upon the Manfrotto 55CXPRO04 Carbon Fibre type, bought it, and it does everything that I want it to do.

Excellent tripod. Quick to set up and light enough to carry around attached to my backpack
