Miele KM3474GSS 36 Inch Gas Sealed Burner Cooktop

We put this on an island and it works better than we expected. Very easy to use and super easy to clean. Nothing is perfect, so I didn't give it a 5 star rating.

I would rate it a zero if I could Purchased a Miele because it’s a name brand. 1 igniter did not work immediately. Miele did come to repair. However, immediately had issue with the burners extinguishing each time I opened a cabinet drawer underneath. Called Miele.

I'm not overstating to say this is the WORST mechanical product of any kind that I've ever owned. Seriously - you won't believe how bad it is until you try to use it. It has all of the problems mentioned by the other reviewers, and more. But you can wrap them all up into one statement: "don't work.

Like the other reviewers, our igniter has broken too. It started to be temperamental after a few months, and has now stopped working completely. The cooktop is less than a year old and we barely cook. It's under warranty, but we are still without a stove until they fix it.

Miele really let us down with this cooktop. We love to cook and have made numerous great meals using this cooktop over the past 10 years but, we've had the same issues as the other reviewers mentioned with this expensive and presumably high end piece: the constant, annoying clicking of the starter...

The worst ever!!!! Has trouble lighting and won't always stay lit. Cheap fake coating on the aluminum rubs off and is shiny. It was our worst purchase for our home. We are very disappointed and upset. It was not a cheap unit. I imagine that Miele has made an incredible profit margin on the product.

I seldom write a negative review but in this case it is warranted. I have a Miele KM 3474 that is about 10 years old. It is lightly used as it is in a vacation home that also has a wood cookstove which is the primary stove. Despite its limited use, this stove is very poor.

This is the worst gas cooktop we have owned. Within the first one year two of the burners developed ignitor issues. Miela took care of it as the unit was under warranty. The following year, after the warranty, same issues with the same burners showed up. We got it fixed.

Its junk. Have had this cooktop for almost 10 years and it had issues from almost form the beginning. Have already spent money on repairs and it continues to have ignition problems and turns off after lighting its so freaking annoying not spending another cent on it just gonna throw it in the...

We cannot believe that the burner positions are stencilled on to the cooktop. The wear out very quickly and cannot be replaced unless you replace the entire cooktop!!!!! What an idiotic design for an appliance that has to be cleaned every day!!!
