A new router with four-year-old technology under the hood - that doesn’t sound too fancy at first. That’s what Netgear did with the R6400. The final result is pretty good though, as far as we’re concerned.
The Router Ranker Performance Summary comparison of the retest (left) and original (right) results shows the difference in sub-ranks that contribute to the R6400's position as the new #1 ranked AC1750 class router , moving TP-LINK's Archer C8 to #2.
The Router Ranker placed the R6400 at #3 among AC1750 class routers tested with the current Version 8 test process. Ranking details are shown in the Performance Summary alongside the top-ranked TP-LINK Archer C8 .
I had a cheap router for a few years. I notice my signal was loosing it strength in the House, so I bought an extender and it didn’t help much. Then my router decided to die and I said time to get something more powerful. I came across this and I am very please with it’s performance so far.
This is a great all around wireless router for home and small business. It is easy to setup and works well in most situations. Price point is great.
For years I have use Linksys routers. My latest one was only a little over a year old before it gave out. Time to try a new brand, the Netgear AC1750. Setup was quite easy, and I like the remote access feature, (Netgear Genie ap) and the Readyshare Vault which is software for an automatic PC Backup...
I use this for streaming and video games. It holds multiple devices with no lag or speed affecting it. Only thing is the size that threw me off. Router is relatively large. Other than that it's dope.
I'm not a tech person but I knew our lagging internet signal needed to change. Read the recommendations and went with this router. Set up was easy and everything seems to be running much quicker. No complaints here!
Highly recommend this router for in-home use. The product comes with a number of features that can be enable or disable.
Awesome Router!! I live in a one bedroom, 2 story condo, and it is totally way more than I need, but I love it because when i am at the garage or pulling up in my parking, my phone picks up full WI-FI signal. Very happy with this purchase and supper easy to setup.
