I couldn't be more pleased with the Powerline 2000. I have a sprawling ranch and the ATT fiber comes in at one corner and my main TV is at the diagonal one. Tried a few other brands and even the Netgear Powerline 1200, but they couldn't handle it. The 2000 unit is great!
Netgear is a brand I trust. These PLCs are easy to install. Good data transmission. No software to install. Its 2 Ethernet ports allow me to connect both my PC and my TV. The configuration of the premises requires me to use this product.
Easy to install. Works great. I gave 5 stars (provisionally) assuming it will continue to work.
I have horrible, very sporadic Wi Fi Signal where I live. Impossible to do live chats, Zoom or anything requiring a stable connection. I got this device, plugged it into the router with the ethernet cord supplied with it, plugged the device into an outlet then went to the area I use the most for my...
We recently purchased a house built in 1925, which means plaster walls and ceilings in every room. Top tier wireless products couldn't get the job of connecting all family members devices (about 14 at last count) continuously or consistently.Enter the Powerline Adapters.
Good product, as expected, easy to install and use, see if it lasts
Absolutely fantastic WiFi extender! Used it to provide WiFi to a trailer that is over 100 feet away but that has power running to it through our breaker box. Our ATT router spits out 100mbps. The trailer gets 25mbps. The trailer is in a different breaker circuit for those that ask about this.
This was as easy to use as plugging it in, and is plenty fast enough for my tech work needs including video streaming. I one time had the units flake out and need to be reset which was a minor hassle then they went back to working fine.
You'll never get 1gbit, maybe 50mbit or 75mbit in a normal house going normal distances crossing, normally, a circuit breaker. They're good, they work, latency is low and that's very important for many uses of the Net, and 50mbit is fine for most uses of the Net, but for, say, backing up your laptop...
I was very pleasantly surprised when this was finally set up. I was ready to run a network cable through the house to connect a Mac mini that was having trouble keeping a stable connection to our wifi. I found this at the Staples shopping for cable and decided to give it a try.
