ACULON A211 binoculars deliver a high quality image under a multitude of lighting conditions, making these binoculars effective during lowlight hours near dawn and dusk. All together, the ACULON A211 binoculars are a quality, cost effective choice.
I read several reviews good and bad before ordering. We have many zoom and fixed focus binoculars and have been birding over 50 years. We like to have a pair in almost every room in our houses.<br />The hard to turn eyepiece / diopter was not an issue - our is perfectly smooth and easy to turn.
These work great, I can see images a lot better. We view deer and other wildlife behind my house everyday. These have helped spot deer, hogs, coyotes and others as well. It is about 200 yard from the house to the wood line and this lets us see down there.

I have this pocket zoom binoculars (22x-80x) for years now and I thought that they were great but it was difficult to adjust when you reach the higher magnification. I bought this Nikon 10-22x50 Aculon A211 Binocular as a replacement.
These binoculars far exceeded my expectations. Very well worth the money spent. Crystal clear and good magnification. The zoom feature which increases magnification from 10-22 is a very nice feature.

Not a bad binocular for a zoom binocular but the FOV is much too narrow for birding use. I wouldn't recommend it for any use where you need a wide FOV.
It is lighter than I expected. The zoom mechanism slides easily and is in the appropriate place. I have taken it to the range and it picks out the bullet holes in the targets well. I'll be taking it to Newfoundland next week for a field trial for moose and caribou.
I have had these for about 1 1/2 years worked great on zoom.about six months ago I noticed that my left eye piece has become blurry , unable to focus even when zooming in . What can I do about it .
I've tried many other brands of binoculars, but these are by far the brightest, most versatile, without a doubt. My primary use is at the range, and they fit the bill very nicely. Plus, Optics Planet had a very good price on them.

Got this for trips into the wild and so far didn't find anything I didn't like about it. Clear view, versatile zoom range, convenient zoom switch and focus ring. Image is shaking quite a bit at x22, but that's where tripod adapter comes in handy.
Love the Aculon, great on the ocean or on land. Very durable and light weight.
