This is my first pair of decent binoculars. I really do like them. They feel of utmost high quality. They are very adjustable and very smooth to adjust. I think the biggest drawback is they are heavy, but that goes hand in hand with the quality at this price point. I would certainly recommend these.
I looked a about 10 different binoculars for marine use. These represent a good choice where quality, features are important. At this price it represents good value. I've used them a few times, and find the compass feature useful. the image is bright, clear, and provides good field of view.

I have always been fan of Nikon products (cameras and lenses). I have bought these binocs for sailing. So far I love them. Extremely luminous! The compass works perfectly (one one the reason I chose this product).
Nice binoculars, however out of box compass light does not work. This was critical item on my list as we use for sailing. Does have one year warranty, so will see how replacements work.
EXCEPTIONAL clarity, brightness and ease of focus ... even better than advertised!
