The Travelite delivers a brighter, sharper view during critical early and late periods. Turn-and-slide eyecups and central focus knob make using the new Travelite a pleasure for any user and the durable, rubber-armored body protects against hard use.
Nikon's 8x25 ProStaff ATB Binocular is a compact rugged waterproof optic with slip-resistant rubber armored, polycarbonate body.
My mom and I always take our binoculars backpacking. I have this pair, she has something else. These ones can do something cool that hers can't: I can magnify things that are very nearby, like little critters in the water near the bank of a shallow lake, or a bird on a nearby tree.
Bought these Nikon binoculars for a trip to Alaska, was very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the lenses on such an inexpensive item. I must say it was the size and light that weight made them very easy to use, they were right there on my chest when needed.
Perfect compact size, and weight for a travel binocular ! Best optics for the money in the right magnification for on the go viewing, without handshake; with great field of view for easy location of distant objects, wildlife, birds, people. Sized right for stowing in a purse , or pocket.

Well made, with clear optics. No Objective lens covers. The twist-up rubber eye cups will not stay in the out position. As soon as they touch your face, they collapse to the in position.
Pros: Quality Lenses, Strong Construction, Close Focus, Compact, LightweightCons:Other thoughts: Bright clear images. Smooth focus. Light weight for extended carry. Just what I wanted for hiking and concerts.
My first binos. Works good. Pretty much useless at 24x. The image is too dark (unless you look at a light bulb). And it is impossible to keep it the image from shaking profusely at anything over 12x. Thus higher zoom is not always better, you will be dissapointed if you get some fancy 20x ones..

small and fun. easy to use with one hand.

image shaky at anything over 12x. only comes with lens covers for the eyepieces.
I purchased these binoculars for a trip to Alaska. They are very clear and easy to use. Just the right size to carry and just the right power to bring you a stable, clean image. They make a stronger pair that is exactly the same size but proved to be harder to hold a steady field of view.
I bought this mainly for carrying while backpacking or while doing field photography. We have owned another pair of Nikon binoculars (Travelite II) for many years, which led me to the Trailblazer. They, like our other pair, are light and have very clear vision.
These are a great pair of binoculars that I bought to replace the old pair that my dog used for a chew toy. I have not had them fog up once since I bought them. The image through them is bright and clear. They fit easily in my camera bag (Lowepro Flipside 300) with the rest of my camera gear.
This is an excellent set of binoculars. The size and weight are perfect for us. We are much more likely to grab these before heading out somewhere than a full-size set that are bigger weigh so much more. I even forget I have them around my neck when they're under my jacket.
