My binoculars were a birthday gift to me and I am very happy with the clear sharp image. They are very easy to operate and I am sure I will get a lot of pleasure when I take them out in the field.
Quite heavy but good focus
The best binoculars I have seen in this price range. There is some coma at the edges of the field of view, but there is absolutely no chromatic distortion at all not looking at bright lights, or the moon, none. The coma isnt bad and might be from my astigmatism anyway.
I've always wanted a binocular, this is my first. It fits perfectly in my hands and feels great quality wise. Enjoyed hiking a few times with itand looking forward to using it at some sporting events.
Used for second trip to Alaska. Easy to spot wildlife from cruiseship and tour bus (Denali). Reasonable weight to carry in daypack and good hand grip with gloves on. Noted was same used/loaned on Kenai day cruise by tour company. Suited needs well for travel.
Bought Nikons because of their reputation and previous experience with cameras. These have great clarity and are easy to adjust. Time will tell about reliability. Quite pleased.
Nice clear image. Easy to focus and use. Great pair of binoculars for the price.
I like the fact that this unit is very useful for my expectations; from looking at sporting events, hiking, etc. This one is perfect for daily use. If you don't need to see aliens at the moon, then this one is a great start for activities like sports events, camping... Super.
I'm very pleased with the size, quality and value of this set. I had purchased a Nikon 10x50 Action Extreme ATB Binocular but found that while great quality, they were a bit big and shake sensitive due to the X10 magnification. This set is much more practical for a quick grab or field use.
Good clarity. Easy to use. Perfect for backyard wildlife viewing.
Great lightweight binocular. I wanted to get a small pair of binoculars to quickly scan the sky at night. As usually is recommended I was going to get a 7x50 or 10x50 for that purpose, but I wanted something lighter and smaller to carry with me specially when also carrying my telescope.
I just used these for the first time today, comparing them to the Nikon 10x42 Prostaff 7 which costs about 3 times as much (not the 7S). I found the 8x42 Aculon lightweight, comfortable to hold and operate with the focus wheel and the twist-up eyecups.
