Its been said, good things come in small packages. And this unit is such. its my first Nissin flash, my exposures using a Sony A 6300 are what I expected. I am so pleased,now looking at the other units in the Nissin line up.
Seems very well built and sturdy. I love the manual dials so much better than screen control. Nice size for my small mirrorless cameras. Seems very accurate.

I bought this flash for my Nikon Z6 because it is relatively small. Its the perfect size for the Z6, but unfortunately it doesnt work properly.When set to A, the flash overexposes every image by at least 2 stops.
Wouldnt have as my main flash, but great as backup and really small. Doesnt have a few features of the i40, but much cheaper
Nice compact size for fill in flash.Need to hold the Test button ~5 seconds to activate HSS for Sony model otherwise the shutter speed only go max to 250.

I had been looking for a smaller alternative to my full size Nikon flashes and this has fit the need perfectly. Its a very straight forward flash with manual controls but it packs a big punch in its practical use.
