This keyboard blew me away, not only was it very responsive but all the features work well with FL studio, Pro tools and more! Every DAW I tested this with it worked just fine, it is also built very well and does not feel like a toy.
Pros: Durable,Easy To Use,VersatileCons: Automap Program,Hard Pads,Decent Automap ProgramI purchased this controller in 2013, and didn't really like it. As I continued using it I started to play with a few of the differnet features. The built in ARP is a lot of fun to create synth Arps on the fly.
Bought is at 250 euro, and that's what it's worth. 350 is too much. Keys, sliders, buttons, potmeters are all plastic and sort of loose. Functions are OK. Next one will be a dedicated keyboard, not a combo of all kinds of functions.
I purchased the Impulse 61 mainly for plugging chords and melodies into FL Studio 10. The keyboard has a great feeling and is weighted like a dream. All of the faders, rotary encoders, and pads were a breeze to program and have opened my workflow to a whole new level.
This product its great! For a keyboard MIDI controller with 61 keys its surprising light, the keys have a great touch, and the pads for the price range/ quality of this product are pretty awesome. The faders have a nice sensibility too and resistance. I recommend.
Great: -Arpeggeator -Clip Launch -Lots of encoders and buttons -The keybed is fantastic Not so great: -Automap looks like it will take a bit of a learning to get used to.
I bought this unity, and did not disappoint. Is much solid than competition for the same price range. Its lighter than it seems to be, but very sturd construction still. Ive been using it live and never failed me.
I use the product to control Ableton Live and Reason and it is spectacular! It lets me have great hands-on control, the keys are amazingly expressive, the drum pads are great, and sliders are awesome too. This is for sure a great MIDI keyboard and easily compares to any MIDI keyboard out there.
This is my first keyboard, so there is a learning curve, and I have nothing to compare it to. I have no complaints about the key action, seems very responsive and easy. All the faders and knobs are sturdy and easy to move. Works great under both Logic and Ableton.
Keys feel great and are very responsive, I hooked it up and use it with logic pro flawlessly
