Launchkey Mini is an instrument for iPad, Mac and PC. It has a mini-keyboard, eight knobs and 16 three colour velocity sensitive ˜launch pads' so you can control your software as well as triggering loops and samples.Launchkey Mini can be used as a keyboard / DAW controller so you can get hands-on control of major music software such as Pro Tools, Cubase, Reason, Logic, FL Studio and Ableton Live. The eight knobs (pots) can control your software's mixer using Novation's ˜InControl' technology. The 16 launch pads are velocity sensitive so can trigger drums and samples as well as launching clips and scenes in Ableton Live.In addition, Launchkey Mini comes with a suite of apps for iPad, Mac and PC which transform the controller into a production and performance instrument. Use the free Launchpad app with Launchkey Mini on your iPad to trigger the included professional sample library and control effects, letting you produce and perform music straight away. Load in new pro sound packs and import your own samples for an even more unique performance, before sharing your creation with a growing fanbase. Launchkey Mini connects directly to your iPad with the Apple Camera Connection Kit (not included) and it's powered by the iPad.Launchkey Mini also integrates with Mac and PC to become an instrument. It comes with the Novation V-Station and Bass Station soft-synth plug-ins. Novation is renowned for synthesizers. The V-Station and Bass Station are powerful soft-synths built on Novation synth engine technology. They come with a huge number of sounds ranging from fat basses to rich pad and keyboard sounds, and they work on your Mac and PC as a plug-in within your DAW software.The hardware has 26 assignable controls including eight knobs, 16 launch pads and a further two buttons. These can be used to control your software using the MIDI-learn function in your software. The mini-keyboard has 25 notes and you can shift up or down with two dedicated ˜octave' buttons, giving you virtual access to a full range of notes.Launchkey Mini comes with revolutionary production and performance software by Ableton. This allows you to produce and perform music on your Mac or PC. Launchkey Mini gives you excellent hardware control of Ableton Live Lite - including launching Live Lite's clips and scenes with the 16 launch pads. Loopmasters are world-leaders in producing samples and loops; Launchkey Mini comes with a substantial Loopmasters pack that can be dropped into Ableton Live Lite or whatever music software you are already using.
