Ive been using this binocular for a couple of years now. It is possibly a 4-star binocular (compared to Nikon), but considering the great price, worth 5-star rating. Its not your all-around binocular for everyday use. I actually use it as a low powered scope.
Although the FOV is narrow, I use these for astronomy use.At specific objects such as M45, [ the Pleiades ] and others, they are terrific. A very good flat field almost edge to edge.
I think these are great binoculars. They are not too heavy and not too light at 3 pounds. Optics are good. The price is great. I wish Pentax would make a 20x80.
Great binocular; focus is sharp objects are clear even at dusk or low lighting. Can be held with ease and is not too big or bulky.
This is a good binocular for the price. The lens is not as clear as I expected from Pentax and not as powerful for 20x60.
Big powerful binoculars need a tripod to steady these big boys wish I bought a smaller pair better for field view

Easy to Use
They are fine for my purpose of casual birding, wildlife tracking and astronomy, given their reasonable price. They are clearer and brighter than I expected. Could they be clearer & brighter? Yes, but that would cost more in money and weight.
