, so I was interested to hear how the X5 compared to the more expensive models. The Pioneer X5 is $250 cheaper than its big brother, the X10, but shares a lot of its design features. Here’s a look at whether the X5 is a reasonable compromise.
I’m pretty tough on headphones and this was to replace a pair I got about 3-4 years out of. I take them off and toss them on to the table probably about 20times a night and toss them into a hard plastic bin mixed with cables and random whatever I have and can fit in there….
Had these 5 years now, because they are over-ear they are a little uncomfortable if you wear specs. Sound and build quality is fine, but after 5 years of light use the leather effect material on the pads and head band has disintegrated and is peeling off leaving flakes everywhere.
This item is very handy and well-made. Its perfect for when I want to practice on my piano keyboard. I haven't played piano in a while because my walls are paper thin and I hate when people can hear me play, so i've been looking for some keyboard headphones and these were my best find.

Convenient, Durable, Excellent Craftsmanship, Great Intonation, Great Sound, Highly Responsive
These make everything sound amazing but if you are a club DJ I’d use better ones. Mines broke on me at the location where they flip. Also on the other side. I’d look to others.
The plastic used in headphones seems to be cheap. Easy to scratch. Overall good sound. Price and quality are in place.
too tight, makes my head-ache. They don't flex outward easy enough. Thus I don't want them on for long.
So these aren’t for the wreckless individuals that puts a lot of rigor on their headsets.ie..pulling, bending stretching. But after using them for 2 gigs. They were sufficient. Quality buy for the hobbiest but if you’re hugging regularly…I’d beware of the headband snapping.
I find that i need the volume to be louder than my previous set for beatmatching. Guessing the lows are a bit quiet. Still think they are a good set though. Very comfortable and flexible. Can wear them any way you want really!
These headphones are perfect from the built quality to the sound, There comfortable even while wearing hats. If theses are in your budget, I say grab a pair.
