Solid, comfortable build., Sturdy fabric-wrapped cables., THX simulated surround sound.

Somewhat weak highs.
I was pleasantly surprised to see so much aluminum on this headset. The entire headband is made of aluminum and then in comes down and protects the two large ear cups. I’ve dropped quite a few headsets over the years and some of them exploded on impact, that won’t happen with this headset.

Razer Kraken Tournament Edition channels an impressive faux 360 degrees audio experience to help immerse you into games and movies!
Decent for gaming. Their microphone is really good for online games and people will hear you very clearly. Their app is also a great gaming software that offers good control over the headset.
The Razer Kraken: Tournament Edition certainly is a solid set of headphones. High quality construction, crystal-clear audio, a plethora of customisation options, comfort… everything you’d usually expect from a Razer accessory.

Overall the Razer Kraken Tournament Edition gets a thumbs up from us for having features that are usually reserved for higher priced headsets. We like the inclusion of in-line volume and mute controls for when you're using the headset without the adapter, it shows that thought has been put into the...

The Razer Kraken Tournament Edition is one of Razer’s latest offerings in its wired headphones line. For myself, headphones are generally a hit or miss, with a few must-haves that I have come to expect from them.

Good audio, Comfortable, Smart design

Not outstanding in any area
The Kraken Tournament Edition, as mentioned, can be used across a wide range of devices – including out of the box stereo support for the PlayStation 4. But, it’s design and software support and THX surround is strictly Windows 10 PC based.

Exceptional value for money, sound-wise, THX surround is Razer’s best yet, Great customisation tools, Increased frequency response makes them great for movies and music too, Doubles as a pair of 3.5mm headphones

Not balanced so tweaking required depending on the use, Plastic USB controller is too light and doesn’t sit or feel sturdy on a desk
Release the Kraken! (sorry, we had to do it)
INCREDIBLE! All the people giving these bad reviews probably didn't know how to use the controls. there's a switch on it to move between audio and voice chat so your game doesn't muffle things like discord calls. When you turn that off the sound is AMAZING!
Had to to return my first headset, because the sound chip had fuzzy highs that were cutting out (headphones were fine by themselves). The replacement I received has no such problem. After getting the new set, I am much more satisfied with the purchase.
The overall quality of this headset is amazing. The fit and finnish all the way to the audio quality. The Tournament Edition has so many options for adjusting the audio. I really like that you can choose audio priority between game and chat without exiting the game. Highly recommend.
Sound is amazing! Probably stick with these for awhile!
I will keep this review short and sweet. The sound quality is horrible. For a premium headset there should be no reason why the quality of the audio is muffled/bass heavy. An uninstall and reinstall of the Razer Synapse software did not do the trick. I adjusted the EQ settings, but still nothing.
I Loved The Build Quality, The Cooling Gel, And It's Overall Quality! THX Spatial Audio Is The Best Part About These! Please Trust Razer For Its Line Of Gaming Accessories For Your Console And PC, And Trust THX For Their Sound Quality I Would Recommend This In Any Way.
I love this headset. Its built very nice and the sound quality is great for gaming. The USB controller is very simple and it has a sticky pad on the bottom to stick it anywhere on your desk. The only thing i dont like about this headset has nothing to do with the headset. Its the software.
Although there was some of the usual reading to be done for initial set up, after everything was plugged in and working, the headset is a dream to use. The headset looks really clean in black because the razer logo isn't too noticable and is a tasteful amount of "gamer" aesthetic.
