With its affordable price, analog video capability and access to Roku's best-in-class platform, the Express+ is a no-brainer buy for people who want to bring streaming video to an older TV.
-
+
The Roku Express+ has an analog audio/video output, allowing it to connect to older TVs. It's cheap, easy to use and loaded with streaming apps, including the latest version of Netflix.
-
-
It's slower, especially with Netflix, than other HDMI-only devices that cost just a few bucks more.

While the number of devices that support it will probably grow, the Roku Streaming Stick is still a niche item when compared with every other Roku device.

The Roku Streaming Stick offers to streamline your smart TV setup by eliminating power cords and the need for a separate remote. The experience is akin to that of other Roku boxes and is one of the best streaming setups available. The device offers a motion remote and dual-band 802.11n networking.

The Roku Streaming Stick is completely functional with only two displays at present, and one of these (a 3M projector) already includes the Stick. For the same $99, the fully featured Apple TV is a better way to go if you're part of that ecosystem.

No petty squabbles, no annoying content pushing – just heaps of content available through a straightforward interface.
My cable company was no longer available so I signed up for more streaming channels and needed 2 more Roku for my other tvs and already had one for a while so decided to get the same one again. I really like how you can turn the tv on and adjust the volume so you only have one remote.
User interface is very intuitive. Voice search is very useful. Channel selection is outstanding. Channels loaded on this device will be populated on other Roku devices. 4K HDR performance is excellent. Overall a great value and inexpensive way to cut the cable.
This is a good product if you're looking to reduce your ever growing cable bill, especially for Xfinity customers bc of their partnership with Roku. You can get your existing cable channels. It doesn't always connect to WiFi right away but that's my only concern. Would get another for sure.
Awesome quality - super easy to set up and use. Great value. One thing though, that is just a Roku thing... No page button means you have to slowly scroll through every line, every channel. This is consistent with all streaming devices, though. Just NOT consistent with the technology of these times!
I replaced this Roku stick with the old Roku box I had. This streaming stick works great. Easy to set up, and easy to program channels. I have nothing negative to say about this streaming stick.
This is the third one I have purchased. They are great. No more high cable bills.

Going from Xfinity to Roku I found the remote a little difficult and confusing to use. It's not as user friendly as a lot of other remotes. Took me forever to figure out how to get back to live TV from a rewind. I'm saving money off of cable, but navigation is a bit awkward.
This is my second Roku purchase. I've added to HDTVs in our home that do not have smart tv capabilities. They work fine for us and provide us with the internet streaming that meets our needs.
Im an Apple user, so Ive always had Apple TV, but these Rokus are excellent! We bought 4 of them to use in a cabin we rent because the UI is much simpler and easier than Apple TV. Even people who arent cord-cutters can figure these out fairly easily.Great product.
