Samsung AU8000 75" Class HDR 4K UHD Smart LED TV

This was a great TV. Purchased Jan 2022, it stopped working May 2024. If you internet search samsung tv turn off and on you’ll see it’s a common problem with manufacturing quality. To be fair it’s not the only brand with this issue. Still, I was a fan of Samsung products for a very long time.

I've had this TV for about seven months. It isn't my primary TV, so I don't watch it regularly. I have noticed over time that it does a poor job with motion - for instance, watching soccer games, the players are blurry as they move on the field and the ball has a tail as it its passed around.

The size of the TV fits perfectly in my living room. Two people are required for installation, as due to the size and weight, care must be taken. The color and picture are wonderful. Setup and connection are quite convenient and do not require special knowledge and effort.

It is irritating to be forced to keep and search through unwanted apps every time you use the TV. At least on my phone or on my other Samsung TVs the apps could be moved out of the way if not deleted. More than1/2 of the memory is used by over a dozen preloaded apps that can not be deleted.

Tv lasted 2.5 years, guess I should have gotten the extended warranty. The smart tv part want very good either, it has always been slow, laggy. It was just easier to use another streaming device instead of Samsung. Overall the picture was good,

The TV was amazing, I would give it a 5 star review but it only lasted about 3 years and burned out, 3/4 of the screen is black and the only section that somewhat turns on is the far left side.

This was an upgrade purchase to the previous Samsung tv I had, which I loved. Right away I noticed the quality difference. Felt like a knock off. But I kept it due to the hassle of returning it and not having a vehicle it could fit in.

This TV was working fine and all until one day the whole screen went black. Unfortunately it was a month too late to get any help and also a month too late for the warranty to do anything. Kinda bummed Samsungs warranty was only for 2 years considering the circumstances.

As a name brand television.. it comes with all advanced features.. this was a great buy for my family room.. has always a big buyer of samsung brand
