Samsung HW-M550 340W 3.1-Channel Soundbar System

Well like others have said in other reviews it does lack bass. I went from a high end Onkyo to this unit trying to save space and having wires running everywhere. That being said after playing with several settings I finally got it to where I am happy and don't have the feeling like I need to return...

Liked the 1st one so well I bought a 2nd. For full bang for your buck, buy the matching treat speakers! Sounds so good I now use it as my go to stereo. You can connect it to your phone or whatever with Bluetooth. Rush Limbaugh or your favorite tunes live and/or loud!

I just bought this to upgrade from the 2.1 HW-JM45C/ZA. The sub on that one stopped putting any punch on movies at all. There was a little sound, but not much. This one did not impress me much either. The soundbar is great as it has a center channel to it. But the sub lacks punch to it as well.

So far everything works great. We had this recommended by a TV installation pro who then mounted it to our wall-mounted TV. For us clarity is good, volume and bass is sufficient. No problems.

I am pleased with the sound quality on the bar but not getting much out of the woofer.I spoke with a Samsung rep and she said the woofer was designed mainly to put out sound effects and not voice.She also suggested I check the sound setting on my tv.I made adjustments and it helped.

Tthe HW-M550 sound bar works great and sounds very good. Set up was very simple and I have it connected via Bluetooth to my Samsung TV. It turns on and off with the TV, and the volume is controlled by the TV remote.

Great sound through the actual sound bar, center channel a little to dominant, lacking that bass punch. otherwise good sound.The Subwoofer is the big drawback on this product. its volume is weak and doesn't give you that sound you expect to receive from a subwoofer.

My first sound bar, i come from a desk 5.1 setup, this replaced most of it, just some addon pointing to the ceiling and this ones got perfect. Volume is really high without distortion, if you are into that .

The soundbar and wireless Bluetooth subwoofer paired effortlessly with my new 75" UHD Samsung TV. Unfortunately, it lacks sufficient bass from the subwoofer, even when turned up to max. The only time the bass is evident is at volume levels of 70+.

Sounds very good and is picked up automatically by the the new Samsung Smart TV remotes. Also has a Bluetooth connection to play music from your phone or other source.
