We were very impressed when we reviewed the Samsung KS9000 , commenting on its star looks, strong picture quality and audio performance, and outstanding Smart TV. Just the curved screen and its associated problems made us hold back on a 5-star rating.
This is my only TV in my new apt so it is my primary media consumption device.I use an Apple TV so do not use any of the smart functions - honestly don't care for TVs adding all of this functionality - but if you do there are apps for most streaming services out there.
This is the first flat panel, high def TV I have owned (up-graded all home theater equipment at time of this purchase). I read many reviews and did a lot of research before the purchase (see "rtings.com" for excellent technical product reviews). Set up was simple.

Excellent in brightly lit room, handles reflections very well, fairly straight forward menu organization in the TV's settings. Color is jaw dropping.

Hard copy of E-manuel not provided by Samsung. You will either want to print out a hard copy or have it on a lap top with you when you first calibrate the set.
The picture is great I can't believe how clear it is once you get 4K receiver the only thing that I don't like is one of the stand's doesn't go in all the way but I'm hanging this on the wall so it's not a issue the other thing is the hdmi box I don't know what to do with it or whare to put it so...

Love the ability to access YouTube, NetFlix, etc on the TV via WiFi without any accessories, TV picture quality is incredible and has so much depth. Couldn't have asked for anything better.
