looking forward to software updates to address glitches.keystone is not reliable and requires manual adjustments constantly. scaling the screen freezes and requires disconnecting often to unfreeze and adjust. not compatible with external charger. the remote delays are extremely frustrating!
so when the keystone works you get a fantastic picture and experience but…. to get to that point is a pain. i bought a projector screen and even on a perfectly flat white screen the keystone struggles.when you try a manual keystone the software lags behind really badly.
the software is ok, updates will fix any issues. the display looks great. but the fact the projector cannot be held by the cradle in some positions is a complete failure. also the battery pack accessory and the other accessories are still not available.
did i say that i love it because i do. let me state it a why. usb type-c connectivity now i can carry only one adapter that can power my phone, laptop, projector and anything else that can be powered by the usb type-c.
i've used the freestyle for just over a week. i project onto my ceiling & get about 60" in width. the picture is clear, audio is great, and it's intuitive to navigate.connecting streaming apps (netflix, prime video, etc.) was really easy and i had no issues linking my accounts.
I think its great the only thing is watching it in daytime cant hardly see screen any suggestions
Having had the freestyle for over a week, I have made a point of using it everyday, and I can say I am really impressed. First the unboxing, clearly Samsung are making deliberate attempts to reduce packaging and what packaging they have used seems to be recyclable, with that said it makes the...
so far this purchase has been a disappointment. have to constantly restart to get it to respond to the remote. when starting a streaming movie there is distortion on the bottom quarter of the picture. again have to restart. down loaded the xfinity streaming app and all i get is a blank screen.
As soon as I saw the Freestyle projector, I knew I wanted it. I waited patiently after pre-ordering one, reading reviews and trying to learn what it would be like. I'm not disappointed. Initial setup was a breeze. Originally I did have it set up at an angle.
Must say for a non-techno guy of 57 I love it, might not be what you would pay at least four times worth for a top of the range projector. Anytime I have had to contact Samsung they have always looked after me and made sure that I have understood (which with me is not easy lol) .
