I have 4 (4TB) drives running in my media server 24 hours a day for nearly 3.5 years with no issues at all. At one point I had them configured in raid 0 and and performed extremely well.

Have used this drive for over a year now and it's running great. True size is 3.63 gigs. Fast transfer and access rates, good temperature readings with an average of 42C in the hot summer and 30C in the cold winter. Make sure to buy a SATA III cable.
Have 2 of these running in mdadm raid0, 24/7 since April of '13... so far so good. have a script running which reboots maybe once or twice a week, so they have gone through the full power cycle repeatedly

Had multiple failures/returns with another co's 4tb drives, so having these run perfectly for the last 19 months has been a treat. Command Line system / media frontend, so not a regular desktop, not sure about speed/etc. other things.... don't care... just wanted SPACE and reliability.

paid a little premium for the extra tbs over 4
I've had this drive for sometime now. It's currently being used inside a HP Elite desk 8200 Small Form Factor. I'm using an Intel SSD 530 series 120GB for the OS (Windows 7) and the (partitioned) Seagate 4TB as storage. It's a perfect combination when your system is limited on internal space.
I rarely buy "Retail" kits as I don't ever need the extras , but these when on sale for same as a barebone so I nabbed 2 running in Raid 1 or mirror setting in Win7. Works great as all my Seagate drives do.

Bought as a third HD in my desktop - use it for downloads so it is constantly getting written to and deleted and re-written. So far no issue or concerns. Read / write speeds are really good and no errors at any time yet. Just pray it stays reliable - it is so hard to find a full proof HD anymore.
Ive had many Seagate drives and i have never had a problem with any of them, Seagate is a respectable company and if you are deciding between this one or a WD drive choose whichever one is cheaper because they are both of the same quality.

4TB of storage that i am using for my movie archive, it does the job just like its supposed to. Ive had the HDD for over a month now and everything is working as smoothly as possible.

Formatted to around 3.6tb, but that's to be expected.
Good size hard drive for a great price. Seagate is a good name in hard drives and the barracuda series is fast for a large storage format. 64mb cache helps with data access speeds. I have had the 1tb version of this drive for over 2 years in another pc with no problems at all.
I bought this back in May of 2013, except for a few minutes of power black out, it has been running 24/7 for 8 month straight, and its still very quiet. Typical transfer rate is around 150MBytes/sec

I've always liked Seagate drives, they always do good. 2 TB at this price is great, even if the wright speeds are not people say. If you really want speed go with a solid-state drive. This is a storage drive, it spins at 7200 RPMs. Can't beat it. I love it
