Although the Sennheiser company has been making all types of microphone in Germany since the end of World War II, it’s probably fair to say that its most iconic designs (like the 421 and the 441) are moving-coil dynamics rather than condensers.
I absolutely love the sensitivity of the mic. It picks up my voice really well for both extremely quiet lines and loud and yelling ones. Also the fact you can record slightly to the side of the mic as well.
I like using md421's in conjunction with my sm57's for mic'ing up guitar cabinets. Adjust faders to taste, and you don't really have to mess with EQ later
I bought this product from either a person or a studio in Germany. Either way, they took amazing care of it because it works amazingly. The best dynamic mic on the market. And their price was spot on. Thanks German dudes. I am extremely happy with my purchase and product.
I found it to be too warm and harsh for video game commentaries and vocal work. SM7b keeps knocking all these cheap mics out. It's natural. I need to get natural mics! If you want warmth and harsh and a muddy sound then get this.
Good sound quality.
We'd been using SM57s to record the drum kit. These instantly changed the sound we were getting. Went from being a flat, somewhat dead sound to something with dimension and life.
microfonhe with a very robust sound without losing the high-frequency nuances.
I place this mic in front of the guitar can, and it delivers a clear, bright tone. Gets the job done without any problem.
Excelente para baixas frequências. Se alguém quiser me dar outro eu aceito. rssss
I have many microphones in my collection and this one adds to it's value. It is a rare European model not often seen in the US market.
