I was looking for a way for a low coast PA for our Senior Citizens meeting using my PC as the amp. This mic along with the Shure SHX2UXLRUSB X2u - XLR to USB Microphone Signal Adapter was a perfect solution, Now everyone in the back can here all presentations. JOhn

I work sound in a small UK church. It's pretty informal and you never know who'll be stepping up to sing. It's tempting to think that by using an industry standard you're giving all vocalists a level playing field. Not so! The 58 is a rock mic, not really suited for worship duty in my experience.
