I really wanted to like this ball head as it has features I need. I have a Nikon D 7500 with a Sigma 150-600 contemporary lens, admittedly a heavy combination. I have other heads which hold it still even when moving it.
I bought this head along with the N2204x tripod and it is a perfect match. The maximum load capability is the same, the operation is very smooth and I have mounted my K5 w/ 60-250mm lens and it is rock-steady. In fact, I was taking some pictures of the tripod to review it and had to leave suddenly.

This ball head does what it says it will do. I used it this week doing macro, with my camera extended on Oben focus rails as far as it would go (at least 10 to the end of the lens). There was absolutely no sag. I was able to do focus stacks that lined right up.
I will reserve a "10" for those heads costing 3x more. This seems as close to a 10 without costing like one. Can handle light or heavy loads and is a good match for the

After many years of using Manfrotto Head I made the switch to Arca Swiss style plate. I went with the Sirui from all the reviews and price. Out of the box I found that it moves a lot smother than the Manfrotto. The tension adjustment was a little tough getting used to.
Other not so good is adjusting ball movement resistency. Its newer right as u like and allcoins are too tick to fit adjustment screw, need screwdriver, who want to carry screwdriver on field.i would look chePer arca compatible head next time like triopo models half price.

After lock weight makes move down little
I bought this to go with my Sirui tripod. I have not used it in the field yet but like the feel of it. Seems to be well built. I looked at other ball heads with similar specs and they were more expensive. I will update the review once I have used it.
Other people in the reviews have mentioned a similar problem. I havent used it in any extreme cold. The main ball wont move at all now. I liked it while I had it though it was excessively heavy.
All adjustments are easy to make. Once in place, this head won't let your camera move, even a little bit.
Prfect balance of precision, finish and quality. Supports the D-850 and 200-500 without a sweat and without adding excessive weight.
