The Slik Pro 700DX is a solid aluminum tripod at an affordable price. At under $100, you might not expect a whole lot of professional feel from a tripod; however, Slik has managed to put together a top notch tripod for those of us on a budget.
Fully assembled I would give it 5 stars. It appears to be rock solid, easily adjusted and able to handle heavier equipment. I graded it down for two reasons. One, it came with no instructions.
This is my second tripod. The first was a consumer aluminum piece of junk, so this tripod is refreshing. It is as solid as a rock. As the previous reviewer said it is a little heavy but for the money I'll pack the weight.
Excellent product. This Tripod has so many options for the novice user. Excellent investment.
Great sturdy tripod. No frills. Does the job. If it was ice cream it would be vinella. Great for light vodeography work. Does exactly as expected. Solid enough to support a 2 foot slider with 5lbs of equipment on the end.
The legs are stout and sturdy. even loaded up the feel rock solid.the head on the other had has a little bounce to it. doesn't seem like its as strong as the legs.I will be getting a new head soon and we will see how it is then
This is a Cadillac for a tripod. Very well constructed. Good weight, that will handle some bump and grind. Simple set up and worth every penny.
Seems a solid tripod.
Can't imagine using anything else. Bought this for product, landscape and astrophotography. Does everything you want in a tripod. Sturdy, easy to set up, 2 levels on head, legs lock in different positions, quick release, and being 6" tall, I can use it standing straight up with camera at eye level...
It's big and sturdy but comes at a price for weight. Having no issues supporting 7lb of gear. I needed something really sturdy, easy to work with and this fit the budget spec and price wise.
It took me a while to find the perfect tripod for the price and quality. I was looking for something heavy and sturdy and I am happy with this one. I also owned a manfrotto 190 tripod but I think this is going to be my first go to tripod for now.
