Expensive, Only works with pricey Sonos subwoofer
Even at its most basic non-Dolby Atmos settings, it still sounds fantastic and will likely be a significant upgrade over most other soundbars

Really wide and immersive soundscape, Atmos support was needed and delivered, Clean and modern design

No built-in smart TV stuff, Needs to run on S2 app, At this price a remote would be nice
The latest home theater offering from Sonos delivers an impressive Atmos experience from a standalone soundbar. Add the company's Sub and bookshelf speakers as surrounds for even more intense audio immersion.

Dolby Atmos limited to newer TVs, Short on inputs, Big and heavy
The Sonos Arc sets a sensationally high bar with outstanding sound quality for music and movies alike, offering fantastic sound staging, clear and rich vocals as well as Dolby Atmos support.
“With Dolby Atmos and voice A.I., the Sonos Arc is the Swiss Army knife of soundbars.”
This model sounds incredible while listening to music and provides a pretty immersive home theater experience
The Sonos Arc is the company’s excellent new soundbar, but there’s a chance that it might not work best for your TV.
Sonos Arc: Superbly composed and balanced sound but the Arc is hamstrung by its lack of inputs

Great sound quality, Easy to use and set up, Google Assistant and Alexa support

Slightly bright sound, Only one HDMI connection
One of the best purchases I've made. Perfect for daily use during the day and night since it has night mode you can still bump without having to worry about bothering other people. Now pair this puppy with a sub and you'll be thanking yourself.

Need Sonos sub as well as 2 ones to really pull out the potential on the speaker and can be expensive to do so
I was very skeptical of paying this high price for a soundbar but i did my research and with the promo that i was receiving i couldn't beat it, and without a doubt the best investment i made absolutely in love with my soundbar the set up was easy the sound is awesome, cant wait for this wkn to play...
Was looking for a center channel to drive speech and we got so much more. The Sonos ARC is strong enough to carry the speech and soundtrack for all but the audiophiles. (We have an ARC paired with two Sonos Ones as surround). We may add the sub woofer, but don’t feel the need to rush into it.
The most I’ve ever paid for a sound bar and the best sound bar I’ve ever owned. Paired it with a gen 3 sub and two rear SL ones. This is also the first sound bar I’ve own that I can actually hear/understand most of the dialogue in a movie without constantly tinkering with the volume.
I have the Arc and Sub based off your review and others and I am very happy and pleased with it. I came from a 5.1 setup with Cerwin Vega towers with dual 8's and their center and surrounds with a Klipsch 12....I think that says something for their product.

Immersive and sounds full. App is easy to use and control system

I would use it with their sub...not a con just a suggestion
Absolutely blown away by the Sonos Arc soundbar and worth every penny!! We really were on the fence about it and so glad we decided on it. Debated between this and Bose but in listening to both, just found this a bit crisper.
Sonos speaker does everything you expect it too. Voice assistant, full integration with other Sonos products. Also controls on/off functions of CEC controlled TV’s that are not smart assistant capable. To get the full potential of the sound bar you need a TV with eARC.
not syncing with new LG TV for Dolby Atmos through eArc. Have tried all the troubleshooting I can find online and this key feature isn't working.
It deserves 5 stars but I am having some issues with lip sync between my Sony 950H and the Arc. The sound is incredible and blows me away. But I need to address the lip sync issues. Not sure if it is my setup, cable, settings, etc. I have spent hours trying to fix it.

I'm not a soundbar person, but this is the best technology and of the highest quality. TV speakers are good enough in my opinion at lower levels, but if you listen to it loudly you can tell the difference. Bose was always best but their price left room for competition.
