The Sony E 35mm f/1.8 OSS is certainly one of the more interesting prime lenses in the Sony NEX lineup. Even when ignoring performance aspects, the very high speed in conjunction with the optical image stabilizer (OSS) are exciting value propositions for users who are intending to go beyond...

Although it seems this lens carries a bit of a premium price, the performance it delivers probably makes it worth it, for those who require it. Sharpness is very good from maximum aperture, and can even be considered as outstanding as the lens is stopped down.

I bought my Sony a6000 without the kit lens and instead purchased this lens to go along. After much research, I found that this is a great upgrade from the kit lens for overall everyday use.

I put this lens on my A6000 and started taking professional quality photos instantly. The lifelike clarity/sharpness of this lens is nothing short of phenomenal. Auto focus is lightning fast, accurate, and silent. OSS works great. Video quality is superb even at only 1080p.

I bought this lens as an additional for the kit power zoom, and it delivers image quality way above the kit one. Although price may be a bit steep, i think it is still a good buy with OSS and relatively fast (f/1.8) aperture.

I haven't had anything to complain about with this lens. I bought it as a walk around lens. It's lightweight and quiet. It takes fantastic images. I used it at my 8year old's birthday and was able to compose a wonderful story set for her.

Got this lens last April 2013 and so impressed with the quality of the pictures I had taken. Lens was so quick to focus and shots were so crisp. Low -light shots for indoors is now less of a problem.

This is the best lens! It stays on my camera all of the time. It's so smooth, the focus is great, and it's super sharp! I'm so satisfied with this purchase, and I'm really happy to have found such a great all-around lens.

This lens produces beautiful images with bokeh effect when used at F1.8 stop. A bit expensive for a fixed lens but it has OOS and fast autofocus.

This product shoots amazing portraits. Instant gratification from this purchase!
