Sony STR-DH790 7.2-Channel A/V Receiver

Purchased this a month ago, and have been very pleased with the sound. I expected good surround from a Sony and have not been disappointed, what I was very surprised by was the sound through the bluetooth feature, connected to the NWA-55 it produces a very good quality music listening experience.

I did an upgrade and after I figured out how to make adjustments I'm loving this receiver and what it can do. all everything hookup and my sound is the best that it ever has been. Going to replace rear speakers with another set Tsi's soon

The receivers Easy Setup program was fast and intuitive. In the end, my picture and sound quality improved by an amount that surprised me. If you are in the market to upgrade from an old unit, but do not want to spend a lot of money, this unit fits the bill.

Great upgrade after using my Sony all-in-one-box home theater system. Purchased with amazing speakers set from Sony as well. Whatever happens in a movie- I hear it as it is happening in my apartment. It can be scary sometimes, especially in a horror movies. Sound quality is "make believe".

This is a great receiver decodes all the new codecs has plenty of power and looks good!

I got this about a month ago and had my doubts about it , to be honest this is one of the best sounding top of the line systems all the bells and whistles you need in a system . Glad I purchased this system over the others I was looking at .

I have found this system to be an easy setup and the sound that is projected is great for my speaker system.

Seems to work well, but still having lingering issues with setup to tv which I am trying to resolve. There appears to be a definite audio sync difference with the tv, and although I tried adjusting the a/v controls on both the tv and the stereo, it hasn’t helped.

Works fine , my only complaint or weakness, as with just about every Sony receiver that Ive owned is that radio receiver is weak and has no AM....FM only. But other than that is a great buy.

I bought it about 2 months ago and it sounds great! It has all the features I could possibly want. The only issue I have is that there is no sound upon initial power up unless I open the Netflix app. It is connect to my X900H via eARC. Once I open Netflix it starts to work for all other apps.
