The Sony Inzone H5 provides fantastic audio with second to none comfort and a fantastic spatial audio system on PC, but the lack of PS5 features mean this is a headset that sits happiest in the middle of two systems.

Sony heeft sinds vorig jaar een nieuw hardwaresegment dat zich specifiek richt op gamers. Dat doen ze niet onder de PlayStation-vlag, maar onder de noemer INZONE. Ik mocht van Sony mijn oor te luister leggen in de INZONE H5-headset, die werkt op pc en natuurlijk de PlayStation-consoles.

Sony's mostly cable-free affair offers impressive sound and quality for the price but lacks in some pretty basic ways. It's an otherwise excellent piece of kit with minor caveats.

Wireless connectivity is limited to 2.4GHz, which requires a USB dongle.

Form and function for a modest price.

This is another very solid headset from Sony, one that probably pips the H7 on value, although it does feel substantially cheaper than the great H9. It's a good choice if you're operating on a budget that it fits with.

The Sony INZONE H5 headsets looks great in white – it’s like an extension to your PS5. Charging the H5 is easy, just plug in the cable and wait. When fully charged, the H5 will last around 28 hours, so more than enough for a few gaming sessions before needing to be recharged.

These are super comfortable and so compact. I love having audio coming through wirelessly even though, you have to charge them, I have these in for a couple of hours and the battery has only drained 20-30% still leaving 70-80% and charge the case once or twice a week!

Seem to be very well made and hopefully not prone to falling apart as all of my most recent purchases have done. Used for work, play and music and no issues with any aspect. Clear sound and microphone, comfy. Nice long cable with the USB extension needed for PC.

These aren’t cheap, but are the nicest gaming buds I’ve tried to date on the PS5. If you’re checking out reviews, you already know about the specific tech inside them from the advertising. So I’ll leave that alone. I have to say the literature is somewhat misleading.

The Sony inzone buds are amazing, yes they are expensive, but now that i have them i can tell you its worth the cost, they are very comfortable, i ended up using softer tips for mine, the battery life is the best you can get for any gaming earbuds 12 hours, this is one of the main reasons i got...

These headphones are as expected from the many reviews, immersive with excellent sound quality.

This headset is absolutely brilliant! The noise cancellation works a little too well too! The only thing that unfortunately lets it down is the quality of the mic.

Good sound and comfortable to wear

Replaced a pair of H7's. Key difference is the noise cancelling which is great. The ear cups are also made out of a more premium material than the H7's. All in all- great gaming headphones for the PS5- so simple to connect and the battery lasts a long time!

What can I say, Perfect earbuds, amazing battery life of 12hrs+, Ambient sound cancellation is fantastic as well as the pass through modes. Mic is also very very good in general and not just for earbuds.

Discovered the Sony Inzone Buds at around the same time the PlayStation Pulse Explore buds were released. Was confused as Sony seemed to be competing with itself in the same space!
