Purist alternatives sound better
A turntable for less than $400? It’s going to be ♥♥♥♥, ain’t it? Well no, actually, writes GARY STEEL
There will be howls of derision from audiophiles, as they regard Sony’s new turntable. Everything shouts “toy”, from the fully automatic design to the relatively lightweight and plasticky build. Oh, and then there’s the tonearm, which has an integral counterweight.
No surprises here. The 310BT is a rectangular box with a circle on it. The plastic construction feels lightweight, but proves perfectly sturdy. It looks smart in its matte-black finish, and the clear dust-cover is in no way flimsy.

Wireless performance suffers just a little compared to the wired alternative
my normal everyday set up is a Mcintosh C28 pre and 2125 Power with an EAT C Major turntable using a Blue cartridge. My amps went in the shop for a few months and I needed a cheap turntable to hold me over with a built in pre-amp.I ran this turntable through a Harmon Kardon and I passed time.
I am new to the world of vinyl as an adult, but this turntable meets all my needs. It sounds great and the auto start/stop is a nice touch. I haven't used the Bluetooth yet, so I can't speak to that.

Easy setup, great sound, simple controls, ability to choose built in preamp or not

No grounding wire and did seem to get a bit shocky without using the built in preamp.
Delivers as promised and it was easy to set up and get it working. My only concern is that the foam turn-table topper feels fairly unsubstantial and might wear out quickly... But based on the motor, I am guessing they were going for lightweight. So far so good!
Very impressed! We have it synched with a Harman/Kardon Bluetooth speaker and, so far, all of our OLD albums sound really great! Very good purchase.
This is the best blend of old school vinyl and new tech wireless. I love it. I haven't had a record player since my husband's player broke about 20 years ago. Technology has evolved so much since then. This record player is light and sleek looking. The set up is simple and takes about 10 minutes.
Good value turntable with a lot of connection flexibility. I bought this primarily to transfer vinyl to digital via the USB connection.

Automatic operation, variety of output connection options and low vertical profile.

Rather lightweight in build and end user can not replace cartridge or set up turntable.
It arrived super quick, easy to set up and play music so nice and clean
With the digital revolution, it is increasingly difficult to remember the analog world. Like many, I love listening to music and subscribe to online streaming for my music catalog. One of my favorite artists just released a lot of their music on vinyl, and I couldn’t resist purchasing it.
Love how sleek and clean the record player looks. The only issue we ran into was when taking off the needle cover, the needle came off with it. Fortunately, it snapped back into place but scared us for a couple of seconds.Fairly easy to connect to the Bluetooth speaker. Definitely recommend.
Really nice sound quality. Easy set-up. Sleek modern design. Everything I hoped for. Only item I would change is not making the audio out wires permanently attached. I’m not going to use them and they just dangle off the back. It’s a small item to be sure.
