The Sony WF-C500 are great for sports and fitness. They're very portable, have a long continuous battery life, and are decently stable, so they should stay in place during a run. They're also well-built and rated IPX4 for resistance against being splashed with water.

Can fall out during intense workouts.
Sony's earbuds are compact and stylish, but they're not the best value in the space. Sony’s WF-C500 earbuds are respectable, if a bit underpowered. They offer next-gen playback time, their sound is detailed (if brash), and their compact, rounded design looks and feels stylish and comfortable in...

Weak battery life (for the charging case), On-ear controls can be difficult to operate
Sony’s new WF-C500 true wireless earbuds have an appealing price of $99.99 and come with a sleeker, more traditional design than the WF-XB700 buds that they’re replacing. Aside from the reined-in looks, they improve upon that model by adding support for Sony’s Headphones Connect app, which allows...

Priced between $99 and $129, Sony has joined the budget truly wireless earphone club with a pair that sounds great, but lacks the niceties. On the one hand, you’re getting solid sound, but on the other, the WF-C500 earphones are almost entirely devoid of the extras we’ve come to expect out of truly...

Ordinary battery life, Slightly small-scale sound, Numerous serious rivals
Yes, making the WF-C500 so affordable has led to compromises - but Sony’s kept them to a minimum, and delivered a very perky sound from very comfortable earbuds. They’re far from your only choice, mind you, with lots of competing budget wireless earbuds on the market.

Informative, organized and lively sound, Neat and comfortable, Proper control app

Battery life is nothing special, Could sound both deeper and wider, Not short of rivals
The Sony WF-C500 are my first ever wireless in-ear headphones , not wanting to spend a large amount of money if I didn’t like them /the feel of them I went for a modest purchase price of a known brand - I am quiet surprised with the out come - comfortable and quality are both present - very happy...
Glad I bought these ... butI i love my music and wish they would perform louder.but base and quality good.
Happy with these earbuds. Better sound quality and noise blocking than expected. Might not be so great for phone calls, but I don't use them much for that.
Excellent quality sound something we now expect from Sony, very comfortable and good grip on the bud rubbers not like others that fall out when you tilt your head.
These are really great little earbuds - I'm glad I bought them! They don't have some of the features of a more expensive set: no active noise cancelling (nor an 'ambient awareness' mode), but they fit snugly and securely in the ears, and block out most external sound.
Clear and loud sound but bass it is not great.
Great item works brilliant
It's pretty great so far! They're super easy to connect and sound quality is just sublime
I’ve had these a few weeks now and I’m so pleased I chose the Sony ones. The first pair I bought, the right ear didn’t connect, got them exchanged for a second pair with absolutely no hassle.
Love my pair. Initial pairing set up could be explained better.
