Sony is breaking new, thoroughly exciting ground with the LinkBuds WF-L900: smart True-Wireless headphones that aim to integrate themselves deeply into our everyday lives. With their open design and automatic functions, mere music consumption is only one aspect of the concept.
Sony introduces a whole new concept, with the LinkBuds WF-L900 open earbuds.

Very comfortable, even after several hours of use, Good call quality and battery life, Open and clear sound with music.

Slim bass, Very important to find the right wings for a good fit, Otherwise they fall out.
The Linkbuds make a play for the teens-who-walk-around-with-one-AirPod-in market, to varying degrees of success....
Sony LinkBuds WF-L900 may just about be the strangest earphones (buds) you have ever seen, but there is no denying that they do as prom...
If you’re a big fan of music and someone not keen on having to stop listening to do other things, there are definite reasons to consider Sony’s LinkBuds. They’re great at letting you keep listening while still hearing everything else, and they’re seriously compact, as well.

Incredibly compact and pocketable, Surprisingly decent audio, Cool new driver design, Holds position in the war nicely and better than you'd expect, Wide Area Tap provides a cool method to control that uses your face without sticking fingers near your ears

Light on the bass, Not a whole lot of long term comfort, Many earphones offer transparency features these days, so the LinkBuds aren't a major leap, A little pricey for what they are given the range of noise cancelling earphones out there
For the most part, I tend to be disappointed by Sony products. The XM3 sounded great but fit horribly, and the XM4 were OK but again awkward fitting and very overpriced.

Immersive sound with good depth, great ergonomics, lots of excellent features, good call quality, sustainable design

Weak battery life with all features turned on, only IPX4, no multipoint, no wireless charging, no hi-res codec support
These are not intended to be noise cancelling headphones, but rather let you hear your surroundings while listening to music. For that, they work pretty well unless you turn them right up. Great for mountain-bike riding and the like which is why I was drawn to them.
Very nice , easy to fit , look different
Sadly super huge in my petite size ears :( even with the xsmall ring it still hurt after a couple of minutes wearing them. They stay in place no matter what you do, very impressive!
These earbuds are amazing and have a lot of potential, but they aren't going to fit everyone. It includes 5 sizes for the "wing tip" on the back of the earbuds, yet none of the sizes properly fit my ears.
All the features and sound quality mentioned in the marketing are true, except for all day comfort. If you are like me and dreaded wearing the old iPod hard plastic earbuds, these will be a similar experience.
I really wanted to love these headphones , the design and the concept seemed amazing. I already have a pair of Jabra Elite 85t, which are fantastic, but I wanted some in-ears that < intentionally> let me more outside noise in.These headphones do let the outside in, whilst ensuring the music/podcast...
The Sony LinkBuds are an innovative and comfortable earbud that fulfill a very small niche. With an Open-back design, they're made to be comfortable and to let whoever is wearing them still hear a lot of what's going on around them.
These are sort of a mixed bag. I didn't buy/preorder these right after seeing it featured on LTT's Shortcircuit... yep. The bad: 1. Battery life - put simply, they're not very good. Sony advertises up to 5.5 hours per charge.
Wear for a long time the ear will hurt, and not friendly to oily ears, sound quality is not to think about
