Targus Wireless Numeric Keypad

It does what it says it does but it goes into power save mode and you have to wake it up and if you’re not doing data entry it’s basically every time I go to use it. It would be nice to adjust the length of time so I didn’t have to guess if the first strike was going to work or not.

We use three of these Key Pads with a vote tallying software for photograph judging. Of necessity, the use of the key pads is in a darkened room. We used a wired key pad that had USB powered lights. These key pads get rid of the lengthy cabling but lack illumination of the keys.

Connects quickly and easily. The keys are a bit tougher to push down than my Mac keyboard, but they still work well.

I was so excited to use this since my new work laptop no longer had the keypad on it. I haven't used it much so far but I haven't had any problems. It is a little lightweight compared to others I've used in the past so I have to be slightly more careful when using it. Overall, definitely recommend!

I find that I have to slow down and type each number very deliberately or it misses some of the numbers I type. Mine is situated approximately one foot from the receiver, and 3 inches from the closest edge of the laptop, so I don't think it's a range issue. I wish the keystroke was more clicky.

With the USB receiver in clear and open view, this keypad only works within 3-4 feet distance! I need to use it about 6-7 feet away, so I purchased this for nothing but prefer not go through the hassle of returning it.

I got this because I have a laptop and I really miss my numbers keypad when I’m doing my bookkeeping. I already have a wireless mouse so I wanted to get a separate number keyboard. I absolutely love this thing. It makes it so easy to pull it out when I need it and to put it away when I don’t.

My corded Targus keypad didn't quite reach as far as i needed it to so i got this.. And it works. Requires 1 AAA battery.

I bought this wireless keypad back in 2013, and it's still working great today, 6 years later. I use it just about everyday. It's easy and comfortable to use. I would definitely recommend this item to anyone that works on excel reports and such.

If it sits unused, it must go into a sleep mode. When you go to use it, the first key punched never works and you have to hit it twice.....or punch a random key before you begin entering numbers. Then it's like it goes off of sleep mode, and works fine....until it sits.
