As you can see below, the Thrustmaster T.16000M has a pretty traditional look that really doesn't offer any frills, but is very functional. There are a total of twelve buttons on the base - six on each side of the stick.

There is an awful lot to like about the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS. I got this HOTAS for Elite Dangerous and it works great. My only complaint is that the throttle got sticky after a week or two. It's manageable if you don't need to make small adjustments and there are upgrade kits on Etsy to fix it, but I was expecting it to last a little longer.

The joystick flies XPlane11 very smoothly (it was recommended by PilotWorkshops) and it appears well made. It is heavy enough to stay-put on a desktop while using it. NOTE: The downloadable software for the T.16000M FCS (on the Thrustmaster website) does NOT include software for an iMac.

I have been playing flying games since the 1990s so I have a lot of experience with joysticks. Thrustmasters, CH Products, Saitek etc. Everything from the entry level to the top end sticks. Before this stick I was a die hard CH products user. But this stick just has the feel.

  I have been using this stick for a week and it feels better than a lot of high priced sticks. Holds calibration. Nicely weighted, requires a little bit of pressure to move it yet not too much. Doesn't feel cheap. Lot of buttons. Easily configurable in Aces High.

  The buttons are badly placed for dogfighting. Only one four direction switch for views. Could be better designed, however for the price it has a better feel than many other sticks costing a lot more.

I didn't want to break the bank, but wanted flight sims to be easier than with my older, creakier joystick. This has solid construction and well placed buttons and the action is pretty smooth. The button placement also makes it so using it in VR is easy.

The precision of control is excellent. The ability to set up for left hand is awesome (I use joystick in left hand and Logitech G602 mouse in right hand). My problem with this joystick is that it only has 4 buttons on the stick and some of the buttons on the base were obviously made for someone with...

This is a really great HOTAS system that I use for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The joystick works really well with the HEART system. And the throttle is fantastic, I love having a joystick always available at your fingertips. Great product. Highly reccomend it

These work great. The software is a bit wonky to get both the left and the right controllers to work at the same time. But I like the fact that they sell them in a left and right kit. Once everything is set up and good to go they work excellently.
