As you can see below, the Thrustmaster T.16000M has a pretty traditional look that really doesn't offer any frills, but is very functional. There are a total of twelve buttons on the base - six on each side of the stick.

Feels a bit "cheap"
Nothing makes a flight or space sim really sing like a hands-on throttle and stick (HOTAS) setup. Thrustmaster’s $200 T.1600M FCS Flight Pack combines joystick, throttle and rudder pedals in one lovely entry-level package.
I wasn't sure about this device when it first came to market and held back on picking one up but the Thrustmaster T.16000m FCS HOTAS has proven to be a great product. Well built and accurate while being far more comfortable that it appears it should be, while offering a wide range of inputs and that...

T.A.R.G.E.T software could be refined, Analogue rudder in a slightly odd position
There is an awful lot to like about the Thrustmaster T.16000M FCS HOTAS. If you are wondering whether to take the plunge into the world of a HOTAS, enhancing your immersion whilst also improving your ability to control a flying vehicle, then the combination of features and pricing are competitive...
The joystick flies XPlane11 very smoothly (it was recommended by PilotWorkshops) and it appears well made. It is heavy enough to stay-put on a desktop while using it. NOTE: The downloadable software for the T.16000M FCS (on the Thrustmaster website) does NOT include software for an iMac.
I have been playing flying games since the 1990s so I have a lot of experience with joysticks. Thrustmasters, CH Products, Saitek etc. Everything from the entry level to the top end sticks. Before this stick I was a die hard CH products user. But this stick just has the feel.

I have been using this stick for a week and it feels better than a lot of high priced sticks. Holds calibration. Nicely weighted, requires a little bit of pressure to move it yet not too much. Doesn't feel cheap. Lot of buttons. Easily configurable in Aces High.

The buttons are badly placed for dogfighting. Only one four direction switch for views. Could be better designed, however for the price it has a better feel than many other sticks costing a lot more.
I bought this around 4 months ago and have used it almost everyday as a way to wind down or have fun on the weekends. The only downside that leaves me wanting more is the lack of a clutch pedal and force feedback, however, for the price of wheel, I’m not upset in the slightest about them being...
The precision of control is excellent. The ability to set up for left hand is awesome (I use joystick in left hand and Logitech G602 mouse in right hand). My problem with this joystick is that it only has 4 buttons on the stick and some of the buttons on the base were obviously made for someone with...
- For the price and precision im not replacing it until a left handed warthog becomes available

- Lack of buttons - Buttons feel a little off at first but you get used to it
I love the automatic re-centering it’s great for drifting a bit of a downside is that if you were planing to play on gta v you can’t gta does not count the steering wheel as a controller and I love how all the buttons on the controller are able to use in game play also before buying try to have...
These work great. The software is a bit wonky to get both the left and the right controllers to work at the same time. But I like the fact that they sell them in a left and right kit. Once everything is set up and good to go they work excellently.
Just that. It works. However, the yaw axis on the stick will get a mind of its own and send you careening in either direction. It will require frequent disassembly and cleaning. The paddles on the front of the throttle are also occasionally possessed and need to be flapped back and forth to cast the...
The state of PC gaming joysticks is sad right now (Nov 2014), and this stick is a decent option. Just be prepared to buy a new one every 6 mos or so.

Relatively cheap, best option in a list of poor options.

Cheaply made. Fails within 4-6 months of use. First one failed in 5 months with the X-axis not being detected, second failed after 4 months with rotation axis detection being erratic.
Works as expected. Its base is nicely weighted. What it lacks is a placard so the user can fill in the purpose of the assigned activity for each button. There are fourteen buttons.All-in-all, good product for the price.
