Aside from speed, the Toshiba Canvio Connect II is a brilliant all-round package. It offers acres of space for your backups and media library, it’s cheap and it comes bundled with genuinely useful software.

Easy to use and it serves as a back-up for my Mac using time machine. There are no software compatibility issues. The product is reasonable and not bulky.
Had to ring JL help desk to discover how to copy files to it. Turned out to be 'drag & drop'.

This product does not work on Mac Os Sierra, so don't get it if you have a new Mac. I feel like I have wasted my money as I now have to buy a new portable hard drive.
