Transcend 2TB USB 3.0 External Hard Drive (Military Green)

At less than £85 the Transcend StoreJet 25M3 is very good value for money, costing just 4.15p per gigabyte for a decently resilient portable drive. It’s well made and should serve splendidly as a highly capacious data store.

Sturdy and speedy, this should get rid of any potential backup qualms.

  The only thing I can think of is that the cable is not a standard USB, don't loose it !

I'm having total success with this drive. It always starts as it should. Windows 10 recognizes it as portable storage. Drag and drop works as it should. Having a drive powered by the USB is handy - less cords is always good. But check your computer to see which USB port is a 2 amp port.

Works great! I have owned three other Transcend external hard drive, one of the older 250 GB green models I've had for at least five years or so (I am guessing here, it's pretty old). Still works whereas my other brands of external hard drive has gone to HD hell.

This is my 4th Transcend. I travel constantly and these units really handle the abuse. Never have had a problem with any of them. I have had Toshiba, Sony, Western Digital, and many other types of external hard drives. Not one stood up to the abuse of my heavy file transfers and travel.

So far this hard drive works well. I feel like I can throw it in my backpack and bring it with me wherever I need to go. The rubber around the outside of the hard drive does attract a lot of dust and dirt...but I should probably keep my back pack a little cleaner.

Well my intentions purchasing this item was to download all my files, what I felt is important into my personal storage.What I have encountered is difficulties in downloading the materials.

I have been using 1TB StarJet 25M3 on my MacBook for over a week or so now and I find it 1) handy to carry around -slim. 2) effortlessly connects to both Mac and PC. 3) Fast - definitely faster that what I have been used to. 4)Already dropped it twice and no adverse result!

I bought the "Transcend 1 TB StoreJet M3 Military Drop Tested USB 3.0 External Hard Drive" specifically and solely to save all the games and apps on my Xbox One. I've had it since November 2015 and it's been working fine.
