I now have two pair of these binos and have recommended them to many others who are looking for very good pair of 10x42s without having to spend a ton of money on them. A+
If the controls on these binoculars had moved easily, I would have given it a 5 star rating. I can think of no good reason why they don't right out of the box.The optics are great.
The Endeaver ED 10x42 are a great value especially given the current rebate from Vanguard. They are very solidly built and provide nicely contrasted and sharp views.
Sturdy, well made, and nice bright view. Very comfortable neck strap and nice carrying bag.
The Vanguard Endeavor ED 10x42 Binoculars are the best binoculars that I've ever owned! I've always had a pair of pocket binoculars (my last were 10x21), but now that I'm getting older (40+) and my eyes are changing, the little mini binoculars just weren't cutting it.
Good Points: Outer protective casing and focus wheelImprovement Points: None
Good Points: Excellent optics
A very interesting product, built with seriousness and good details. The quality of the materials is more than decent and the magnesium alloy structure (which is underlined in a few reviews) guarantees semi-professional solidity and the right robustness for a demanding use.
Good Points: Lockable dioptre adjustmentImprovement Points: Eyerelief on 1 objective lens is not stepped as the other one .. or mine doesn't work !
Excellent clarity and ease of use, however the silicone guard around the eyepieces wear quickly and in fact fell off completely during a recent (low impact) trip. Seems like for a high end brand this wouldn't be a concern.
