Vivitar DVR 786HD Action Camera (Silver)

bought this camera as a cheap substitute for the gopro. records video great while indoors. but if in the case sound is hardly picked up. and filming outside during the day causes the camera to overheat in the case and will not turn off unless you take it out and use a paperclip to reset it.

NOT good for moto vloging. Has NO mount for a MOTORCYCLE helmet. Woks on a Bicycle helmet with all the vent holes in it. Has NO input jack for a external microphone. Has no image stabilization technology. Most vids came out so shake I could not post them up on You Tube. Sound quality SUCKS.

This small camera is HD and comes with attachments to mount to a helmet or bike! Easy to use and with your own micro sd card you can transfer photos to your computer to share or exit. I really am impressed with All the features for such a small camera! It is even waterproof!

Was very excited to get this camera and still am. Went fishing and recorder everything with this on my chest. Worked out great. The water proof housing works awesome. Went for a dive recording everything and still kept dry. The only thing is the screen sort of sucks.

Despite the bad ratings on here I thought I would give this action cam a chance. Overall I was Impressed with this camera. Unlike a GoPro, the all-weather/water sport camera is simple to operate yet the photos and movies have very good quality. The attachments that come with the camera are really robust.

This camera has been a perfect starter camera for my kids filming their adventures, its pretty sturdy and able to withstand their use. The accessories help with different activities, but you will need to get a bag to carry the extra when they are not in use.

Used it once and then went to charge and it would not charge. Tried charging with USB and a regular outlet and it would not work. I found the picture quality to be ok and same with the video. Audio quality is poor. Putting aside the fact that it would not charge I say other aspect are as expected.

This is a great little camera. The quality of the picture is really clear. It is easy to use for those of us that are tech challenged. It stabilizes really well for those action shots. I use this on my kayak when fishing and it works really well.

Got this camera and couldn't be more impressed with it. Yeah... It's not a GoPro but what do you expect for something 25% of the price. Accessories are easy to use and are well built. I recommend this to anyone on a budget for an action camera.
