I am giving this camera a two-star simply because my absolute hatred for it wanes to mere dislike whenever I can actually use it. My relief in actually having a camera that is better than my 3.0 Megapixel phone camera is what saves this thing from a 1 to 1.5 star review, as far as I am concerned.
I have taken many pictures with this camera. Transferred them to my desktop, and emailed some. The quality of the pictures and the ease of use are fantastic. I had someone with no camera experience take pictures with it . After showing him the off on button, he took some beautiful shots .
This is a great camera just to carry around and take snap shots of you and your friends. Easy to use. The only down fall is that some pictures do come out a little blurry but other than that it is a great camera.
I know this is a cheap camera, but I expected at least usable photos. I am not looking for high quality, crystal clear photos. I have a dslr for that. I was just hoping for pictures that weren't blurry or super grainy. You have to hold the camera completely steady to get any kind of viewable photo.
this camera takes pretty good pictures. works for a quick point and shoot camera. not great pixel wise for the "pro photographer" and the flash isn't all too too great BUT like i said it works for taking my quick pictures and its easy for the camera beginners.
Had problems removing battery cover but finally got it!!
A VT119 was substituted when we received the camera and does not seem to take the clearest of pictures. Kind of disappointed!
Screen is only 1.8 inch!! (Tried to exchange for the right one but the same came back twice!) To view the picture, not very clear.
Absolute garbage, do not order, would not order Vivitar products again. It drains a set of batteries after 15-20 shots, the menu was unintuitive, and the image quality was garbage.
I get a lot of use out of it !
