Whirlpool 4.5 cu. ft. 27 Inch Front Load Washer

The Whirlpool WFW92HEFU is a middle-of-the-road washer made more interesting by its tumble feature and soap reservoir. Ultimately, though, the value isn't there.

  Whirlpool's $1,349 WFW92HEFU washing machine has a feature that tumbles your clothes if you forget to take them out of the washer right away, as well as a soap reservoir good for up to a dozen loads of laundry.

  You have to crouch down to read the display options and its various musical tones are a little annoying. The WFW92HEFU isn't an excellent stain remover, either.

I have a similar model. I do like the detergent container and the fan dry feature. But because of the Fan Dry feature, when I do a "Tube Clean"; about 35 min left I notice that soap suds spills out of the intake of the fan dry. Do you know if they have fix this issue?

  Clean Wash leaks

It seems to me this washer is extremely loud compared to our old one. It also has the tendency to leave dirt inside the washer instead of depositing it. Not too thrilled with this purchase and it was recommended by the rep which is disappointing as this wasn't the model we were going to buy.

When our washer was installed by JB Hunt, the installer, a very nice man, sweat all over the Use and Care Guide. The front load and HE washer is a new experience for us. We refer to the Use and Care guide almost daily to figure out how to wash various types of loads.

This washer is very efficient and has all of the extras a person could desire. I chose to give this 4/5 stars because it is a bit loud when the water enters the drum. Truth be told, I was originally worried about the spin cycle sound but it is very quiet at this stage.

This unit is QUIET! Very Efficient! We would also say a very good value!

Price is high because of color, you can buy the same washer in White for $850 or Silver for $899 right now. last month I paid $750 for White.

I wash 2-3 times a week and am very pleased with the quality. Door is very easy to open and close. The inside light is perfect for checking on progress. All the buttons are very user friendly.

  Very convenient pre fill laundry dispenser

Everything that I expected from a higher end Whirlpool. Useful settings, quiet and clean clothes. The load 'n go is a luxury I didn't know I needed, but they are my new standard now. The wash 'n dry is nice, but I think it only works for one item and if left over night. Overall great machines!
